Broadway is a street that runs the entire length of Manhattan Island. When you are taking your New York vacation you will be able to visit a number of the cities sites by just staying on Broadway.
The Theater District is all aglow with lights telling you what the latest play is that is showing in the theaters along the way. Each theater is a little different from the other, each having a special affect on those that enter into the wonderland of theater, whether it is as a patron of the arts or as an actor or support staff for the productions.
Follow the Broadway further and you will come to Times Square. Nearly everyone that goes to New York City wants to visit Times Square, even though it may not be New Years Eve when you are there. It has become a true family tourist area of the city.
