Enjoy the Christian Petersen Art Museum - Ames, Iowa (ISU) when you are taking your Iowa vacation to visit the different art galleries in and around the state be sure to visit the Christian Petersen Art Museum situated on the Iowa State College Campus.
This talented sculpture had spent years on campus as the first permanent campus artist-in-residence. With his talent as a great artist he was also a professor from 1937 - 1955.
The museum has been under design and construction for years but is now open for the public. You can see his work that he created from 1935 through 1955.
