An Effective Way To Quit Smoking

Nothing is easy in this world and that includes quit smoking. However, if you are serious in quit smoking, no one can stop you. There are many ways to quit smoking such as NRT or quit cold turkey but there is another way known as acupuncture.

Acupuncture is an ancient way of treatment using needles. The method is to insert the needle into the skin to allow the energy or also known as Qi to flow free in the body. This is what makes you quit smoking.

During the first visit, you will need to inform them why you want to do acupuncture. In this case you want to quit smoking and then they will ask you a few questions. After that, the expert will check the ears to find out which is the area with low energy.

When they have identified the low energy areas, these sharp needles are making its way into the skin. Normally, 5 needles will be inserted into various points.

You will need to spare an hour for the treatment. You are advised to wear ear magnets when the needles have been taken out and to make sure that the treatment is on going even after you leave.

Acupuncture is a painless treatment but there have been claims that some of them feel the prick of the needle while others feel sleepy during the treatment. However, there is nothing harmful about this treatment so you have nothing to worry about.

To get the best result, you will need to receive this treatment four to six times. There have been reports about the decrease of cravings for nicotine after one or two sessions but it might be different for each individuals so it is best to consult the physician before deciding on how many treatments you need.

While acupuncture helps to take your mind of from smoking, when you are not receiving this treatment, there are many temptations from outside and you will need to find other ways to stop smoking. You must cut off from cigarettes no matter what happen.

If you believe in yourself, you can make it happen and you can quit smoking. Be strong and have faith in yourself.
